how to change-or-set default font in MS Word

तुण्डे तुण्डे मतिर्भिन्ना । (tunde tunde martirbhinna ) : —
Every one has their own choice(/mind-set/opinion/thought process).

“Times New Roman” is the default font in Microsoft word.

everyone may not like that font and they want to use another font each time they open msword for creating a new document.

Being a Gujarati, and habituated typing in Gujarati using Vijaya-Kalapi-Gurjari font on a PC; I would like to set “Vijaya” Font in MS Word.

steps:

1. Open Microsoft word
2. Click Tools menu >> Fonts
   It will open below shown window:
3. Select font of your choice from “Font:”
4. Then click on Default button given at bottom left corner

save that document and close ms word.

Now whenever you open ms word; your favourite font will be set for typing.

If you type documents in Multiple languages in Unicode encoding then You might want to set “Arial Unicode MS” font as default.. it supports almost all languages of the world.
at the same time your system becomes slow as the Arial Unicode font is around 21MB in size.

ગૃહિણી ઘર દિસે સાચી બધું સૂનું વિના એના,
બની પ્રિયવાદિની ભાર્યા , જીવન મુજ એ ભરી રહેજો,
નિહાળી એકબીજાને પરસ્પર સ્નેહવૃદ્ધિ હો, … પ્રભુ…

ધરે સીતાતણો  આદર્શ એ, મમ રામ દ્રષ્ટિમાં,
પરસ્પરને સુખી  કરવા, રહે એ ખ્યાલ  સૃષ્ટિમાં,
મધુરતા નાચતી વદને રહો, વાયુ સુગંધી હો, … પ્રભુ…

ખરાં મિત્રો અને સંતો ઘરે મુજ આવતા રહેજો,
અને  સચ્ચાઇની લક્ષ્મી સદા ભવને વદી રહેજો,
પરસ્ત્રી માત હું માનું, પરાયું દ્રવ્ય માટી હો, … પ્રભુ…

how to search in a website using google search engine

Dear friends, You all must be knowing how to search in a website using google search engine.Even though this is just documenting. I was searching for the computerized reservation counters in chennai for my ticket booking  I searched on indian railways website with out success. It is not much user friendly.Then I searched in that site using googleOpen www.google.com (it may open as www.google.co.in)The in search box type [surat gujarat site:http://www.indianrail.gov.in/%5DIt will search in all the pages of http://www.indianrail.gov.in/  which contains Surat and Gujarat.Resultant page will have links to all those pages which have Surat and Gujarat as a text.
